So many children's yoga mats on the market today are thin, flimsy, and covered in overstimulating patterns - we knew we could do better.

Say hello to the MÄTi Junior Mat! Inspired by our MÄTi Pro Yoga Mat but created for young yogis, this child-sized mat offers children a place to practice their movements and find moments of calm. Yoga and meditation have some truly amazing benefits for children, including improved focus, motor skills, and self-regulation of emotions and behaviour.

We chose two simple colours to avoid distraction, and ensured the thickness was just right for keeping little hands and feet comfortable. The mat is grippy to prevent slips and sliding, but provides a good amount of bouncy cushioning for life's little tumbles.

As with all Maya Shanti brand products, the MÄTi Junior Mat is created using earth-friendly materials and can be safely recycled at the end of its life. If the mat gets messy, simply wipe it clean.
